Product Features
Operates on tractors with 35–100+ HP at the PTO. A large 23" × 27" infeed hopper tapers to an 8" × 8" throat where the 8" roller grabs branches from ¼" up to a full 8" in diameter.
An 8" hydraulically driven infeed roller actively pulls material — forward, neutral and reverse with variable speed. Belt-driven pump and adjustable spring down-pressure. No manual feeding.
A 24" (61 cm), 1" thick solid-steel flywheel with four CNC-machined blade pockets and four fan-blade paddles spinning at 1,100 RPM for maximum airflow and long chip throw.
A dedicated locking pin makes blade changes and flywheel maintenance safe and fast — every blade can be accessed with a simple pin position.
Four heavy-duty cogged BX-series belts drive the flywheel, doubling PTO speed for stronger airflow. Automatic self-tensioning system extends belt life. Quick-open ¼" steel guard for fast service.
Four hardened-steel reversible knives held with countersunk M10 bolts. Clamshell flywheel housing opens with a single bolt for full access — flip or swap blades in minutes.
A massive 24" × 28" folding infeed chute swallows multi-limb branches whole, then folds up to shrink the footprint for transport and storage.
Heavy-duty ¼" laser-cut steel base adjusts the PTO shaft height from 15-5/8" to 21-5/8" off the ground — fits a wide range of tractors with a four-bolt reposition.
Rotates a full 360° via two handles and stands 66" off the ground. Aim chips into a truck, trailer, or straight down using the rotating end deflector.
A shear-pin protected Series 4 PTO shaft ships in the box — Cat 1 Quick Hitch compatible for fast, wrench-free hookup to your tractor.

I have about 10-15 hours on unit so far and love the chipper, it does everything I had hoped , it is also nice that with the chutes slight downward angle it takes all the small branches without leaving piles around machine like others I have used, machine folds up nicely to not take to much room in my shop when not in use. The price was great, as 20 year old chippers of same size we not much cheaper then a new unit from Woodland Mills. I have mine on a 70 HP air cooled Agco Allis and it has zero trouble, from hardwoods to thorn trees it works very well

This chipper is a delight to use. I’ve had a great time shredding up all sorts of trees and brush with mine this spring and summer. Handled all sort of fruit wood, pine, walnut, and Russian olive. I have had my WC 88 for approximately three month now and used it extensively. I use it mostly to chip Ponderosa pine sapplings to about 6 inches in diameter behind an 83 hp tractor. Even with the feed roller speed set to max, I have never had any issues. The machine occasionally struggles when pulling in green fir as it has more needles and sometimes wraps small branches around the feed roller. I am very pleased with this unit.
