30" log diameter matched with a 30" throat opening — produce stunning wide live-edge slabs, veneers as thin as 1/16", and cut down to within 1" of the deck for maximum board-foot output.
Reliable 14 HP 4-cycle Kohler with slant-cylinder design, cast-iron bore and Quad-Clean™ 4-stage air filtration. Turn-key electric start comes standard, plus recoil backup.
Heavy-duty 4-post head reinforced with a back beam and welded tubular crossbeam, anchored between laser-cut carriage side plates for rock-solid rigidity and dead-accurate cuts.
One throttle handle engages engine RPM, blade and the patented auto-lube system simultaneously — fewer steps, faster milling, cleaner cuts.
Exclusive tool-less blade change with Belleville shock-absorbing washers — consistent blade tension across temperatures means longer blade life and truer cuts.
Standard 10' 5" track handles most logs — add 6' 5" extensions to mill up to 22' 5" and beyond. Each extension ships with its own log clamp, bunks and supports.

I do not have any experience at all except with this mill, but I am happy with the blades once we got the mill tuned correctly. I am cutting a lot of dry ash which is very hard, but I am able to cut a lot of logs before the blade loses any performance. I am overall very happy with the blade performance. Pictures are of our first log, 28" cottonwood. GP Blade slipped thru that thing like it wasn't even there. It will vibrate some on Ash if the log is bigger, but I assume that is to be expected.

This is my first sae mill. I got the 130 max. Pretty simple to build. Took one long day to put it all together but it runs amazing. Runs through logs fast and smooth. Water tank could be a little bigger but it also doesn't take much to have a 5 gallon bucket sitting beside you. The tank still last turning a couple logs into 2x6's. Delivery was pretty fast to from the time I purchased. I think it was only 3 weeks. Absoluty great mill. Very happy.

Minor shipping damage to pull string cover for engine, I ordered the mill with electric start, so I was able to remove the cover and use the mill. Customer support was amazing! Simply had to send photos of the damage and they shipped out a new cover. We are really loving the mill and getting lots of time on it. I don't care a lot for the log clamps themselves. On a concrete floor they are cumbersome to get the right angle to clamp the log while avoiding the blade. But otherwise very satisfied with the purchase.

I purchased the HM130MAX sawmill over the summer to use out my land. The set up was straight forward and relatively easy. The saw cuts great out of the box and looking forward to milling lumber for my cabin at the land. I purchased the track extension which opens up a lot more options for cutting. Being able to cut 12' lengths is very nice. If you're looking to get into milling as an individual or even a small side business I would highly the HM130MAX as it will cover just about any size cut you would be doing.
