A 22 HP Kohler Command Pro V-twin with electric start rips through your largest logs without bogging down. Reliable, easy-starting, all-day power.
Swap blades in under 60 seconds with the RapidChange® tensioning system — no wrenches required. Keep milling instead of fighting your equipment.
Slide the blade guide to match log width and it auto-locks in position — protecting your blade and keeping every cut straight and true.
The patented auto-lube system delivers the perfect amount of lubricant to the blade at engagement — no manual pumping, no wasted fluid, longer blade life.
Precision-ground linear track keeps the carriage gliding smoothly and repeatably from cut to cut — the foundation of accurate, low-effort milling.
Dual-race sealed bearings on every carriage wheel keep the sawhead rock-steady under load, so every board leaves flat and square — pass after pass.
Throttle controls mount on either side of the sawhead. Set the mill up for the way you work — right or left-hand operation, whichever you prefer.
The full log scale printed on the carriage lets you plan your cuts by lumber thickness — from thick beams to thin siding — with no guesswork.

I am very satisfied overall with the HM 136MAX sawmill. The instructions were very clear and helpful, the cutting process is very smooth and easy. The honda V twin is powerful, pretty quiet and dosent bog down easily. The one issue I had with the construction process was the fact the head size of bolts changed (13-14mm) between packages of the same shaft size bolts. This slowed down the process of fastening due to constant switching of sockets or wrenches. A very minor issue and not even close to lowering my great appreciation for this product, thank you woodland mills!

I am totally impressed with the power this machine has. When you squeeze the throttle sawdust is gonna fly. Built with the quality you’d expect from Woodland, no disappointments. The electric lift included with my purchase is a ant-fatigue, production feature. I’ve included a laser and DRO unit on this unit just like I had on my 122, but also added a hydraulic log turner/clamp and hydraulic to board all nestled on a 10” iron beam frame, solid!

I only have a few hours on the mill but so far it seems to be well built, instructions ŵere clear, all the parts and hardware were included. The engine started right up the first try. These are my first boards, 6×6×20 feet, just to raise the mill up as this is a temporary set up in the picture. This is my first time sawing on anything and I think this is a great product and will recommend it to anyone.
